Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The taste similar celup tepung east coast. So no need to travel so far. But the seafood not so fresh (maybe its monsoon season). But love their fried mushroom. Its cooked fresh once order."
"Place to chill beside the sea... Went here for lunch. Had and ABC with Sotong goreng tepung and Cendawan Goreng Tepung. Food was good. Price also fair. They also got satay and other menu as well. Can drop by here to support the local business. Atmosphere was great as its located beside the sea. The view was magnificent as you can see the island opposite the restaurant. Thank you."
"Almost never write reviews so it takes something special for me to like Dak lin’s celup tepung. Visited here first in 2024 and been wait for an opportunity to visit again, luckily for me 2 years later in 2026 i got a chance to. Enough backstrory, there’s a couple reasons why i love this place. Firstly the Celup Tepung Seafood is so addicting, in my experience the seafood has been fresh and the batter has a good crunch to it, on top of that the amazing sauce they have on the side. Another highlight that no one seems to pay attention to is the TEH AIS, im telling you it’s amazing! i joked to my friends how i waited to years just for the teh ais, a good way to describe it is the teh ais is “bocor” (because it tastes so good you finish it quick). Futhermore, the view ofcourse is a great calming oceanside which i like very much. All in all a great place to visit when you’re in melaka it’s a must, 10 stars for this place."
"Highly recommended Ikan Celup Tepung. If you ordered the 'Set Campur' consists of squid, prawn, and ikan kembung. So sedap. The service is quick, the seafood is fresh, and the prices are reasonable. You can't ask for more. Dak Lin is jam-packed during weekends. Simply order at the counter, get your receipt, and hand it to the staff who will plate your order. The sauce, which is free-flowing, is that delicious keropok lekor sauce from Pantai Timur. Just a reminder, the route to Dak Lin or Pantai Siring is narrow, suitable for only one car. Drive carefully."
"Dak Lin Celup Tepung is one of the seafood restaurants located at Pantai Siring. Situated right by the sea, diners can enjoy a calm ocean view and the refreshing sea breeze while having their meal. My family and my parents-in-law came here for dinner. As shown in the photos, we ordered several dishes and Alhamdulillah, everything was delicious and really hit our taste buds . The waiting time was short, and all our food arrived at the same time, allowing us to enjoy our dinner comfortably, Alhamdulillah. The staff were friendly, and the service was fast. Thank you for the great experience. Please keep it up, and may the business continue to grow, insya-Allah"
"⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tried the seafood platter at Dak Lin Celop Tepung and was really impressed! The seafood was fresh and absolutely delicious — especially loved the crispy fried texture, perfectly done. Service was quick, which made the experience even better. Prices are on the higher side, but still reasonable for the quality. The only downside is the parking situation — it's either hard to find a spot or you’ll need to pay for parking nearby. Overall, a great spot for seafood lovers. Will definitely come back!"
"1. Good taste, the batter on Prawn, Sotong and Mushroom awesome 2. Less oily and can eat as Keropok 3. The sweet sambal compliments better 4. Other dishes of Goteng Goreng just ok and can limit order compared to "Celup Tepung""
"The Nasi Lemak here is just average. Fried mushrooms with flour 5/5. I really like it. The atmosphere here is very nice and clean. Just next to the beach."
